Small business or multinational - every business is exposed to cyber criminals. Don' fall for the fallacy that you are a small business & nobody will attack you - they do & they will. Many attacks are completely automated, with bots just scanning the internet.
In the worst case, all of the company's data will be frozen & unavailable, including emails, all your Word & Excel documents - absolutely everything.
What can be done though?
This is where Cyber Essentials comes in.
Cyber Essentials provides a checklist of all the things that you need to do which will reduce the risk of an attack on your company from succeeding. This includes things like ensuring that your computers are running supported software, your network equipment is all up to date and you can ensure that your systems are updated quickly once critical updates are released.

Engineering Support
